This refrigerator is very good value for the cost. It is our back-up fridge NS LOCted in our garage where it works very well and does a good job. Cool juices and rinks as well as stored vegies and frozen meats. No complaints now.

Bought this refrigerator as a second refrigerator for extra food and drinks. Excellent size. Left handles off doors for a cleaner look. Still easy to open doors

Premium Lower-End Refrigerator

I bought this unit to replace a refrigerator in an apartment. Long ago, I stopped buying the cheap foreign appliances, mainly because of repair parts.I either couldn't get parts in a reasonable time-frame, or couldn't get them at all. I now stick to major producers that have parts readily available. GE is one of them.
In this case, I needed a refrigerator that was 18 cu ft, 28" wide, and stainless steel. 18 cu ft is perfect for a family of 4, + or -.. Apartment space is limited, so 28" wide, and stainless steel was needed to match the other appliances.I shopped and searched the offerings of Whirlpool, LG, Bosch, and Samsung. I stayed away from Chinese knockoffs mainly because of supply problems. After much, I settled on this GE refrigerator. It meets all my requirements. Delivered, and working well. Truthfully, I bought a refrigerator for my own house 2 months before, not a GE, and for 5 times the price I received nothing more in terms of quality and refrigeration functionality. Now, let me say I just installed this unit. Maybe it will work for 30 years, or fail next week. I have GE to solve my problem if there is a failure.

This Fridge is Beautiful. I always thought Stainless steel was so commercial looking, this isn't. Happy I bought it. I needed it because my Fridge was dying.
