Purchased off brand refrigerator lasted 6 months. My new GE just from the sound of it closing shut I can tell how well it’s assembled

the overall construction of the refrigerator especially where the handles are attached to the doors. the led lighting the shelves and drawers are all designed well

Cooling fan is constantly working. It runs for 75% of time with 25% of rest. Highly NOT recommend.

Hi - Thank you for taking the time to share your concerns regarding your new refrigerator. We hate to hear you're unhappy with the amount of time the refrigerator runs which has resulted in a higher sound level. Refrigerators and freezers now have compressors that are designed to run 80% to 90% of the time to provide a more stable consistent temperature in each compartment. This design makes them more energy efficient because the greatest amount of energy is used when the compressor cycles on as opposed to when the compressor is actually running. If your refrigerator is cooling and freezing properly it is running as it should to maintain proper temperature. Based on your description, the refrigerator is operating normally. I love my new fridge! The slate color is absolutely beautiful. The fridge also fits in my smaller space (condo living) but provides so much space inside.

Just Got My First GE Fridge

I’m not sure yet. It’s ok just like my old one but different model. My GE New fried is clean inside, but outside it were a couple of dents and it was dirty and had a couple of flaws. I feel like I just got a gentle used fridge. I decided to keep it to avoid any delivery delays. It’s not my ideal fridge but it will due.
