Refrigerator cools as it should which is the most important part. The only negative things I find are, the inside of the freezer smells like vinegar, and when you bend down to reach into the refrigerated compartment, you have to twist you neck to avoid hitting your face on the freezer door and handle, I don't know why it is like this with this refrigerator.

Thought it would be better...

Refrigerator needs to be close to maximum cold. Had to throw out milk and coffee cream well before the expiration. Threw a thermometer inside. Not very cool at 3. Not much better at 4. Barely starting to get cold at 40 to 41 degrees. The old fridge I had before was keeping my items colder.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi there - thank you for this review. We are sorry that your refrigerator is not cooling enough and that you had to throw away milk and coffee creamer before their expiration date. This sounds very irritating and we certainly understand your frustration.
There are several possible reasons why your refrigerator is not cooling properly. Make sure there is enough clearance around the unit - it requires 1" on top, 2" on the back, 3/4" on the sides. You can also check to see if there are any large containers placed against the back wall of the refrigerator, and if so, simply move those forward so they don't block the the air flow. If those tips don't help and you suspect that something is broken with your refrigerator, then we recommend scheduling service with a certified GE Appliances technician that will be able to accurately diagnose and repair your appliance. The Doors and Handles

I love the fact that the doors are of considerable weight and close securely. The handles are easy to grip. Just the fact that there are handles is a great plus - I did not like our old refrigerator that had grips along the sides of the doors. This refrigerator keeps things cold the settings are easy to adjust. There is quite a bit of room for being a smaller size refrigerator. Overall it is well made and I am very happy and satisfied with this product.
