This refrigerator is noisy and now I’ve got frost building up in the freezer part because the seal does not work right. That’s enough for you to know.

Hi there - thanks for sharing your feedback. We apologize that your refrigerator is noisy and that frost is building up in the freezer. This sounds very annoying and we can certainly understand your irritation.
Frost building up in the freezer could be due to several issues - and you're right, it may be that the freezer isn't properly sealed. It's also possible that food packages or containers are preventing the freezer door from closing. Also, to help reduce the potential frost, make sure there is proper clearance to the air supply and vents in the freezer to improve circulation. Additionally, you always want to cover food before loading it into the refrigerator, as moisture from open containers can contribute to frost.
As for the noise, check out page 19 of the owner's manual for descriptions of normal operating sounds to make sure that the noise isn't a symptom of a larger problem: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-1000501.pdf.

Cools nice, seals on freezer concerning

I love the refrigerator part. The freezer works but the seal seems as it is not sealing as it should. The fridge one seals as it should.

Not as good as it's predecessor

The smooth exterior surfaces are an improvement--easy to clean. Interior center "control panel" is large and in the way. Shelf positions are not ideal for me. Bottom crisper drawers seem a little flimsier. Drawer on door side cannot be pulled out unless door is wide open. Seems noisier than my previous GE. This is a smaller, lower priced model so I'm sure that affects things

Very Poor Purchase Experience with GE

Review date: Sep 2021. Original purchase date in early March 2021 in color "bisque". In August, I got tired of waiting and changed color to plain white. It was delivered within 1 week, which was fine. Early September: I'm still waiting for the ice maker to be delivered and installed. GE (and BrandsMart) should be ashamed. The fridge is also quite loud.
