This is a beautifully made and stylish refrigerator/freezer. The inside shelving is well thought out. Definitely would recommend.

Refrigerator Stopped working after 15 months

I was blessed to get all new appliances with my home built thru Tx GLO and all my other appliances are great, however the refrigerator (bottom part) stopped cooling but the ice box is working fine and making ice. I am not in a position to replace the whole thing wondering if anyone knows any quick fixes this could be. I am a widow on limited income and can't afford rep airman.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

There could be a few reasons why your refrigerator isn’t cooling properly. First, we recommend that you check your temperature control settings. If you’ve recently moved items around inside the refrigerator section, the temperature control may have been changed to a warmer setting.
Second, check to see if the refrigerator door is closing and sealing properly. If large items are preventing the door from closing, this will affect the temperature within the unit.
Lastly, check to see if any large containers are blocking cold airflow. It is recommended that tall items are moved away from the back and sides for air to flow throughout the unit.

Disappointing

This is without a doubt the noisiest refrigerator I’ve ever owned. It is also necessary to keep the refrigerator on maximum cold, setting just to keep things in a safe range. This means that it seems like the loud refrigerator is running constantly. So, I wouldn’t buy one if I had to do it over again.

Regarding how long the refrigerator runs, we can advise most modern refrigerators save energy by running longer but at a slower speed; the refrigerator running longer than you might be used to may therefore be normal for the unit. If you do think it’s running too much, you may want to make sure the doors aren’t being left open too long, and the gasket is able to seal properly. Regarding the temperature, we would consider a normal range for the fresh food section to be between 34-42 degrees F.
