Newer refrigerators have different technology and will sound different than what you are used to hearing. Please take a look at the following link that will have a list of normal sounds.

Very pleased with the quality and features, plenty of space and a good looking appliance. I would have preferred fingerprint resistant but it wasn’t available at the time of purchase.

Louder than the 25 year old Whirlpool that it replaced. Seems to work fine but when the compressor and fan come on, it is very loud.

Suits my needs

Due to my galley size kitchen, I’m extremely limited on refrigerator size. Purchased another brand that when delivered, the only thing working was the light bulb. Was returned & purchased this one. This is NOT a stainless steel finish…not sure what it is but it’s horrible. Will only clean with soap & water & shows every fingerprint.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
