Great sturdy case. My only regret, is that I should have bought a smaller phone. The case is great, as is the screen protector that I got. It was difficult to put on, and no instructions were included. I had to watch a YouTube video to figure it out. But, once it was on, it's now super sturdy. Thanks OtterBox.
Touch functionality is unaffected. Just took a day to get used to the slightly different technique needed for edge of screen swipes. It's Corning, so I'm confident it'll do the job and keep the majority of my screen protected. Unfortunately, it only covers the pixelated portion of the phone face. The protection stops about 3/4" from the top, leaving the front camera and radar chip completely susceptible to damage. If I knew this before purchase I would've looked harder for a different, full coverage option. For now I'm satisfied that the majority of my device is protected by a trusted brand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi Adam,
We appreciate your feedback! Although the Amplify Screen Protector does cover the entire touchscreen, it does not cover the features at the top of the device. We will pass your feedback on to our design team for future consideration.
I skipped out on the cheap knockoffs and went out of my way to specifically buy this one. I already knew, firsthand, how incredible their screen protectors are, and because of that this was an easy purchase for me. All of my screen protectors will be made by OtterBox from now on.
Purchased the defender series with the amplify screen protector recently. I previously had a defender case that came with the screen, so I was surprised they were separate now. I guess the screen on the Pixel 4 is scratch resistant? Well I don't trust myself. So I purchased the screen protector too! I really like the defender series. Without the case I was breaking the phone screen every few months and getting water damage. My last phone lasted almost 4 years, really thanks to the otterbox (and Google makes a pretty darn good phone).
