great photo prints

Epson Photo R800 produces beautiful photographic prints, provided you use dedicated Epson papers. Cheap generic papers will produce off color or banded prints. Does use up ink, but the results are worth it. I'm a professional photographer, and achieve output comparable to commercial labs. Highly recommended.

Epson R800 review

I primarily use the R800 for pictures and for printing CDs and DVDs. The printer does an excellent job of reproducing color on both picture paper and discs. I highly recommend this printer.

best for portrait work

I do portrait paintings using photos that I take of the subject (digital camera) After I print the image (8.50X11) on the R800 I show it to the subject before I start the painting. The people I have shown the prints to are amazed at the quality and beautiful color this printer produces.So it helps me to sell the painting before I do it. It is a great printer!

I would recommend any of epsons printers..but is hard to keep up with advancements in technology.I own a R200 still working...a R800.. and next I will buy a R1900. keep up the good work Epson.

Extremely happy with my purchase

I have been extremely happy with my purchase of the R800 stylus photo printer. The quality of prints far exceed the professional outlets in my area.
Only negative point .... working with roll paper is a nightmare, very difficult to load and once the print is printed the print does not lay flat and continues to roll. I will never use the rolled option again.

Epson R 800

I've had the Epson R800 for several years now and am very happy with it. It's a great printer. When I switched from PC to Mac last year, Epson support was very quick in responding to my question regarding checking ink levels--something that's not highly intuitive on the Mac. Response from Epson was within hours on a Sunday.

Incredibly sharp and detailed pictures with wonderful color. Only problem I have had in almost a year is occassional problem with paper feed.
