Think ware Dashcam.

The dash cam works well. Clear video. Audio not so much. DO NOT DISCONNCT WHILE RUNNING!!!! Turn off your car first and let the unit shut down first. (Voice of experience) Downside : the fitting for the camera to the windshield only tilts and does not rotate for side window shots and police interaction. Another caution.... Be absolutely certain of the camera location before applying the adhesive pad... you`ll figure out why if you mislocate it... which is easily done! Other than that, no probs!

It’s the first time I am using this dash cam driving from Richmond to Victoria. It was turned on for 5 minutes while I was driving and it turned off by itself. I didn’t have time to take down and fix it because I had to catch a ferry. I will be back to Richmond on Wednesday, January 29 and will take a flight to Orlando the same evening. I have no time to take the dash cam to the store. I will be back on February 8. What should I do.

I just received my Thinkware X700 today I bought it online and Im so frustrated that the screen is not working. I dont know if I will buy the same brand. Will definitely return it.

Excellent camera right pout of the box. Literally plug & play, no confusing ,convoluted steps. I'm not a touchscreen fan, but I'm a convert using this camera. I added a 64GB card, don't know if that matters , but I had a couple lying around from our older stand alone GPS units. Only drawback I could find is that I wish it had an optional swivel type windshield mount to fine tune left & right field view. Only has up & down, or fore & aft depending on your point of view. I have a few old swivel mounts & may try to attach one to the camera's mount. I would by a second unit for our second car, but it has a good one installed at this time. I may have to adjust the time change in March to keep the lawyers happy if I ever needed the video in court. Set your time correctly also. Two minutes to do it all.

Good Camera Too Expensive

Definitely a solid dashcam, it was easy to install and does it's job. Also nice that it came with a micro SD card. However, the biggest drawback is the price. Just a camera and it can't even connect to phones or have wifi. Paid over $280 when there are other cameras out there that can do a lot more for less. You don't always get more for you money, choose wisely.
