[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I encountered an unusual challenge while installing my hood, due to there being a ceiling 2x4 joist directly going through the middle of where the vent needed to go through the ceiling. I came up with a good solution, but do wish that the installation manual would have some suggestions for what to do in cases like this. But now that it’s installed it’s great.

hood hangs very low

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never considered how low the glass hangs from the hood, when i stand directly in front of it the glass hits my nose, so when i cook , i will be banging my head on it , until i get used to bending over more. i am not a giant, just 6'3"

Glass Canopy Island Hood

Was a little concerned about overall appearance but as it turns out it adds interest and some visual definition to the otherwise completely open kitchen, dining, living area.

Louder than a 747

Had the glass canopy installed by a carpenter doing my kitchen remodel. Can't find a trim for the ceiling opening. Looks very poor. Had the installation verified by a Frigidaire service center. When the fan is turned on in any setting, fan vibrates and rattles. In any fan setting it is so loud can't hear anything while cooking. Oh it looks nice but I would not recommend it.

Beatiful, quiet, and does the job!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this hood about a year ago for a remodel its clean lines are nice the light is perfect, but the suction of the air is very loud. Overall this was perfect for the money. Keep in mind the glass will need cleaning a lot due to dust and fingerprints.
I would recommend this to a friend!
