I bought this induction cooktop to replace an older style in my kitchen island. So far I love it. Boils water super fact, very good temperature control.
My only complaint, and it's turning into a bigger deal the more I use it, is you can't put anything on it near the controls without it beeping or setting the timer. Yes, even when the controls are "locked" things still make it beep and start the timer. VERY annoying since it's in the island and we use the cooktop as an extension of counter space. If there is a way to prevent this please let me know.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a first timer user of induction cooktops and wasn't sure if I had made the correct choice for our new kitchen. I wanted something simple to clean 'in my old age' and a cooktop that would look more minimal than our present high end cooktop with heavy cast iron grates. Also, it had to be simple to use. This cooktop blew me away with its style, intuitive features, and is SOOO easy to wipe off after using!
But the best part is the speed at which it heats up a frying pan or pot. Unbelievable! Oh yes, I also love the red indicator lights that stay on when the burners are in use. I used to forget to turn my gas burners off, sometimes, especially when they were on simmer. No more, thanks to the little red lights.

Great Cooktop

With the quality of Frigidaire this is a beauty, in looks and performance. The one thing you must keep in mind is that the top remains Hot even after you turn off the burners. The top has a warning lit that tells you so. You must obey this warning or you can be sorry (burned). We love it. The nobs are easy to operate and a good size for your hand; solid and strong.

I love induction!

I love the cooktop. Cooking with induction is absolutely fantastic! The problem with this cooktop is that you cannot really cook with 2 big pans next to each other because the 2 largest cooking surfaces are too close to each other. I have a hard time to believe that some engineer designed it this way. It is very weird.

I bought this for my wife who was skeptical but she has since learned to love the way it evenly cooks, responds so quickly and is a clean cooking area.

Been in use for 2+ weeks and like it a lot! Sleek look fits our minimalist kitchen. Easy to clean - not having knobs is excellent. Surface controls are intuitive and actually sort of fun. Only problem: pans slide around so it's not always easy to keep them right on the cooking element.
I would recommend this to a friend!
