The oven/microwave combo is very easy to operate. We have been able to use it without looking at the handbook to see how to operate. We have always had free standing ovens and this is our first built in. The only negative is the fan is loud and it takes a considerable amount of time to preheat.
Pros: easy to use
Cons: takes long to preheat

This is one beautiful appliance. I purchased because I need two ovens only on the holidays and this was the perfect option. It truly does cook very evenly several racks of cookies at one time. Amazing! It does take forever to preheat and the fan noise is a little annoying, but it is something that one gets used to. It shouldn't be a deal breaker.
