When our old oven died, I was overwhelmed at the options available, but as always Kitchen Aid had the perfect oven for us.The Architect series is beautiful to look at and while I keep the manual nearby, it is very simple to program. It has made baking so fun! Everything turns out great and beautifully browned. Some reviews I read complained about a bad smell when the oven is turned on, but we have had no problems with the oven.
Pros: easy to use, Convenient Features, Performance, Design

I love my new microwave oven and oven combo. It is super easy to use. Temperature is right on and bakes to perfection. The microwave door opens like the oven door. Large size micro accommodates casserole dishes.. Ovens are convection and standard. I still need to learn how to use the convection features - as this is new to me. This is my favorite new appliance!

We bought this four months ago and I love it! The microwave is much stronger than the ones I have had before and has various options for heating and cooking. I love that it can be used as a microwave and convection oven! The lower oven works great. It can be used as a traditional oven or convection oven. It does not take long to preheat and cooks foods perfectly. My baked goods look beautifully browned. And the bread proof option is great! Also love the big window and blue interior

Good combo for serious cooks

We purchased this combo as part of our kitchen remodel project in October 2014 and enjoy the flexibility and capacity. Upon installation our KitchenAid fridge was DOA and needed refrigerant recharge, while the service technician was on-site he looked at the microwave which was extra noisy. He replaced the exhaust fan and now it's perfect. This appears to be a common complaint with the microwave convection oven (top unit). We love the features, even baking, automatic conversion to convection cooking, etc. but give it 3 stars for needing service before we had a chance to use it. So far it's working great.

We have had this unit for a few months and they both work great. The microwave is a lot smaller than our previous one so are not able to fit all of our containers but all of the features are great including the soften butter option! They look great as well.
