Love the options,but

This was purchased for our Kitchen Remodel. The ovens work great - I like the option of using the microwave as a convection oven. The oven seems to heat slowly, and maybe it's because I am used to my previous ovens, but it doesn't seem as intuitive. I would like a quick microwave - hit 1, or 2 etc and it runs for that time as my previous oven did. The convection fan gets very loud erratically, they are coming to fix that. Convection cooking is great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Both ovens are not easy to control or set up. The microwave needs more control features one in particular would be the add 10 second feature. I do find it cooks great when it is set up right.
The instruction booklet is not good, was it written by an American, not clear.
The oven takes a long ttime to preheat and i wonder about it's effect on effiiciency??
It also puts out alot of heat which makes we concerned about it insulation.
It it a handsome unit.
The oven controls are not user friendly and in combination with the lame instruction the frustation level of using the oven increases.
Would i recommend it to neighbors, probably not.

I bought the combination oven/microwave 3 months ago and have found the features easy to use. Foods cook so well in the oven, though it does take a little time for the oven to preheat. The great part about the microwave is that the door opens out, just like the oven.

I am very pleased with our new combination oven. It was able to be installed at a lower height, since we are short people, and works like a dream! It can do nearly anything! I love the technology which is not too difficult to understand, since it "tells" you what to do. We are so happy that we chose Kitchenaid!

We purchased our oven in July for our new kitchen and have been in awe with it ever since...until yesterday morning when the oven temperature spiked when I was baking a pan of brownies and burned them to the point they were solid black on top and bottom. For a reference, I bake these brownies regularly and normally have to cook them 5-10 minutes longer than the time that was set. The timer had not gone off when I found them already burned. The oven temperature was set to 350 degrees and I checked the temperature with an oven thermometer it reached over 425 degrees. I don't know what could have happened, so that is why the jury is still out...

Bought this approx 2 months ago and very happy. Controls are intuitive and easy to use. Also the very large oven window is great for viewing the oven inside when cooking.Well built and I expect it to last for a very long time.
