Okay there is a learning curve switching over from normal backing to convection awesomeness. I have cooked a brisket, roast, ribs, bread...and the side dishes in this oven and it has been great. Done a few over night slow convection bake at 200...controls the temperature so tight it is great, and holds the smell in. We do have their nice range hood over it, but only have to turn that on high when i open the door to pull everything out, but otherwise stays on low. Shelves are great, panel is easy to use. Integrated meat thermometer is a breeze, cooked a pork loin for momma's day, came out perfect.

Since installed vibration in fan excessive. Had it looked at 2 times since installing by retailer. Random fan vibration, when confection oven is on. Time will tell if this needs more work. Not a fan right now of kitchen aid, having 3 new appliances installed since June and all 3 have needed repair. Dishwasher has needed repairs Refrigerator still under repair for the 10+ Times .
Cons: excessive fan noise
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The oven works well, however, I question the length of time the blower stay's on to cool the system. the blower stays on for several hours after the oven is turned off?

We bought two of these to install undercounter in a new home. I am short and can't ever use the upper of a double wall oven, so we just installed two independently under the counter, flanking the undercounter microwave and cooktop. I like the size, the convection and the blue interior. The large glass makes looking inside easy. Overall it's not as wonderful as the last Kitchenaid stove that we had, which was the big chef's 48" double oven with cooktop, but the current house doesn't have gas so we couldn't put that in.
