[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had the laptop about a month now, and am delighted with its performance. I chose it in part for its anti-glare UHD (3840X1260) screen. I use it mostly for writing, and the antiglare feature allows me to work in a variety of conditions and situations. Most matte screens are low-res and underwhelming, while this one is terrific. I just graduated from a ThinkPad L450, and I find the keyboard similarly good to work with because of the contoured keys and good feel. I like the number pad on the P533s as well.
It's as fast as I expected, and setup was very easy. Battery life seems very good so far. The only criticism I have is that it tends to run a bit hot when doing even routine tasks
, which is an issue for me as I actually work with the computer on my lap (imagine that) and on a few of these hot July days it was a bit uncomfortable. I adjusted the screen as instructed, but that didn't make much difference. However, it doesn't always happen, so there may have been some background activity I wasn't aware of.
Overall, i'm delighted with the laptop. It's light and compact, works great, and the screen is truly special.

Powerful, lightweight, fast and with a numeric keypad!! :) I had a T420 for 8 years and it was an amazing product but needed something lighter and had a numeric keypad for easy navigation in our ERP system and spreadsheet data entry. Very happy with this purchase.
