[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Similar feel, computing power and sturdiness to my old W-540 with some serious improvements in certain components (such as the touch pad with buttons) and a slimmer, lighter model for easy transportation. The battery life is also fantastic by comparison. Not cheap, but it suits my needs very well, and it is not easy to find another computer comparable to this in size/weight as well as overall quality. I have not had it for long yet, but based on past experience with Lenovo I expect a long lifetime and plenty of opportunity to enjoy the good qualities of my new P53s.

Shipping was VERY fast and the unit was well-packed. As expected, the machine booted up right away into setup. It was a perfect transaction!

I have been an Apple person for close to 30 years but I recently have had a falling out with them and have grown to love PC's. This machine is a workhorse. It's versatile, it has nice, sharp, crisp graphics and has very little lag. Not to mention a lot cheaper than a Mac. I have yet to put a load on the processor by doing anything graphically heavy but I'm confident it will be able to handle whatever I throw at it. It's extremely light weight but the only thing I miss compared to my old mac is the fact that it's not wrapped in aluminum. Other than I'm ecstatic.

It wasn't heavy, it was just big from a dimensional perspective. But after using it regularly for the past couple of weeks I can't believe I used something so small in the past. And the resolution is amazing. The colors and text are so crisp! I've had several ThinkPad's over the past 15 years and they've worked great, but the screens were so small and a bit fuzzy. I highly recommend the 15" 4K screen. I'm never going back!
