Good no-touch workstation. Slightly dense and hot.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The laptop is everything I anticipated. Heat dissipation is slightly high, hence giving it 1 star less.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wonderful laptop. A great upgrade from my thinkpad i got about 12 years ago. Sleek and very professional looking
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My work computer is a smaller Lenovo Think Pad and I found it easy to use and durable, so when my personal laptop died, I got another Lenovov Think Pad. I carry my laptop all over the place in my house so durability is very important. My college age son helped me with the selection.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a bit iffy about this purchase but man do I love it! It’s so quick and easy to use. I can’t wait to test out mastercam on it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had to buy the laptop for college (NJIT) since I am a computer engineer major. Good computer, easy to navigate, compact for classes. Only complaint is that the finger scanner is in awkwardly placed. I have to lift up my laptop to scan my finger since it is placed quite far from the edge of the laptop. Other than that, it’s a great laptop!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having used T series ThinkPad's at work for about 12 years now, it's what I'm used to. The T580 or T590 was my original choice since those are the latest versions available and I wanted a personal machine that I was already very comfortable with. However, the P53s (at the time I was looking) had better specs and a similar price point so I took a chance and I'm glad I did. I went from a T560 with a dual-core i5, 4GB of RA, and a spinning disk to a P53s with an i7 quad-core, 8gb ram, and an SSD which makes all the difference in the world. If you compared my T560 with my new P53s, you'd think there was 25 years between them. The P53s is a powerhouse, it's lighter, and stays pretty cool. It works flawlessly with my third-party USB docking station for dual screens and everything just works. I'm a techie, but for a daily use laptop, I just want it to do what I tell it do, and do it quickly without having to tinker or spend hours on Google researching why some weird think is occurring on my brand new laptop.
Lenovo delivers. Do not hesitate to purchase this machine!
