So LOUD!

I bought it 3 weeks ago and it makes a horrid shrieking noise that scares my kids and my dog. Here’s a video making hummus. I’m not straining it. I’m going to return it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best Food Processor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had an old (other brand) food processor. It was so heavy and so I rarely used it because of the nuisance of taking it out when I needed it. This processor, on the other hand, is perfect!! Very light weight compared to my old one. It is slender and counter top appropriate. And as for performance, just what you would expect from KitchenAid!! Need I say more???

Convenient storage for blades

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the 9 cup Kitchen Aid Food Processor, convenient storage for all the blades. Light weight yet still powerful and quieter than my Cuisinart 7 Cup Food processor. Having a larger food intake would be nice.

Underpowered and flimsy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This food processor is OK for light usage - making a salad dressing, mayonnaise, pureeing a small amount of a thin soup - but it's not designed for any demanding tasks. The motor bogs down easily if you try to fill the bowl more than half full. The plastic which holds the clip on the lid broke after a few uses - cheap and poorly designed. If you use the grating discs, food will accumulate between the disc and the lid - another poor design. It does look nice on the countertop. That's about the only good thing I can say about it. As is often the case, you get what you pay for.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
