The silicon finish is slippery and easily marked. It's OK, but it's not as solid or robust as I'd expected from Otter box. The magnetic closure is not really reliable and if you dropped the phone the cover could come open and allow damage to the screen. All in all, a bit disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My case for my iPhone Max Pro is great! A little heavier that I expected, probably the magnet embedded within, I will carry a brick if it protects the phone. Overall, love the case, thank you Otterbox. If you make the Defender case in clear, my debit card is ready.

I was excited to find a folio case with an ear opening so I could close the case and talk on the phone. Imagine my surprise when I find out that when I close the cover, the call is disconnected. Why have an ear opening in the case, when it’s worthless? I do like the rose gold color. I expect more and better from Otterbox.

We're sorry for any frustration with your Strada Series Via case! Your iPhone actually has a feature that locks the device when certain folio cases are closed over the screen. If you would like to take calls with the folio closed, simply hop into the settings on your device, go to Display and Brightness then turn off the Lock/Unlock setting. This should stop those calls from being disconnected! If you continue to have issues with that, drop us a line at 1-855-688-7269, and we can get you taken care of.

I love how this covers up my phone and how protected it is. The new iPhone uses the facial recognition, so sometimes your phone gets unlocked if you just pick it up to move it or put it in your purse. This case keeps the front face covered if you are not using it so you can’t accidentally unlock it. I will be ordering another one of these cases for back up.

I was very excited to order the case and once I received the case I realized that it was not what I was looking for. The corners felt odd, the cover flap of the case was very flimsy, really the overall feel was not what I expected from Otter. I have since returned the item and have purchased a case from a competitor. This is a one off experience for me as other Otter purchases have not disappointed. Scratch this case from your roster and work towards a replacement.

I purchased this item a few weeks ago. My iPhone 11 Pro Max fits perfectly, very snug and secure, it does not add a lot of bulk to the phone, therefore fits nicely in my pocket. The look is very stylish and you can feel the quality. I am happy with mu purchase and would recommend it to others.The only cons of this product which prevents me from giving it 5 stars is that you cannot use a wireless charger while the phone is in this case. It does not function as an easel to watch movies on my phone very well maybe if they put some extra silicon or rubber on the edges or some sort of suport tab to keep it from slipping. If you take a lot of pictures (the 3 lens camera on this phone will make you want to) it will take some getting used to holding the flap open.

Both sides of foldable case have magnets. Would NOT have purchased if this major factor had been DISCLOSED revealed, shown, indicated, etc., etc.,. I do not want magnets next to my head and body.
