Disappointed with item

The idea is a very good one, but when trying to install the edge to edge glass, even using the device to hold the phone, it would not go in squarely. Because of the down curved edges that made the glass have a large area that would not stick. I had to remove it 5 times and reapply to get it in the best position possible. It’s still not perfect, but since my last attempt allowed dust to get under it, I’ve left it alone. If I had it to purchase all over again knowing what I know now, I would buy the plain flat one.

Really Disappointed

I was really excited for this screen protector, but I must say I am very disappointed in this product. Shipping was a hassle, even after paying extra for the expedited two day shipping. It arrived late and I had to drive to pick it up from a FedEx location. After having it on for not even a week, the screen protector cracked. So, I used the warranty to get a replacement. When applying the new one, I noticed that there were small bubbles around the edges that were not going away. I had followed the directions completely. I was hoping that after 24 hours (like the instructions state) the bubbles would disappear. However, they didn't, and I'm starting to notice more bubbles appearing around the edges. This is the first time I've had issues with an Otterbox product, all around a bad experience.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Screen protector

The size of teh placement template and teh protector itself are not correct. First teh template (using exactly per the instructions) caused the protector to be placed improperly with overhang off the device. Had to replace without the template. Ultimately the protector screen does not extend to the edges and there is an annoying prism effect now due to the screen backlighting along the edges. Need much better QC on the dimensioning of these - especially for the higher cost relative to your competitors!! Definitely takes the Otter box brand down several notches in my mind.

APPLE AMPLIFY EDGE2EDGE IPHONE 11 PRO doesn’t cover the entire screen. I followed the instructions in the video, tried to fix it twice following another video, but it still won’t lay flat. I only bought it because their new Otterbox defender cases don’t have a screen cover for the new IPhones. So, not only do you need to purchase 2 separate pieces, it still doesn’t entirely protect your phone. I won’t be buying Otterbox again.

Cracks and scratches easily

I bought this screen protector about 2 weeks ago and it immediately began to show scratch even though I was sure to keep it in my hand or a pocket alone. The only thing that could have been scratching it was maybe my car key but it would have been nothing more than them touching each other. Today there is a crack across the screen that is unexplainable. It has not dropped for fallen when the crack suddenly appeared.

Meets my high expectations

Context: I’m big into keeping my phone as pristine as possible. My last phone was an iPhone 6s Plus. On that phone, I kept a PhantomGlass screen protector on. After over 4 years, the screen protector is still in good condition (few micro scratches on the glass protector).
I was initially worried about this screen protector as the general opinion of edge-2-edge protector is very poor. I’ve read complaints about them coming apart at the edges and letting dust come in. The fact that this screen protector is very expensive was another factor that made me hesitant about purchasing this ($60 before discount for one when you can get three screen protectors on Amazon for about $10 total). After using mine for almost a month now, I can say that I am having zero issues. I need to mention that I am also using an Otterbox Defender case which may or may not help keep the protector from coming off.
The screen protector came with a plastic applicator which I find tremendously helpful. Using it allows perfect placement of the protector (which is really nice for people with OCD tendencies like me). It also comes with cleaning cloths, alcohol wipes, and adhesive stickers (used to pull dust off the screen protector if you have the misfortune of dust falling on the sticky side).
I can’t speak to how useful these dust removal stickers are but in my experience, once the underside of a screen protector is compromised with smudges or dust, it’s game over. This is even more so the case because, as I said earlier, you only get one protector. I was able to get my protector on without any dust of debris on the underside using the hot shower method and I would always advise anyone applying a screen protector to use the hot shower method.
If possible, I will update this review in the future. Longevity is major scoring point on a screen protector. Otterbox offers a “limited lifetime warranty” which is something to keep in mind.
