Not an everyday case

Anytime you buy a portfolio type case, you can expect a little of an inconvenience in the way you handle it. They are hard to manipulate with one hand and this one is no different. When you fold it back, it blocks your camera so you need to hold it with two hands. Who not make a portfolio with a clear and scratch proof cutout? The wallet feature is perfect for your id and a credit card and it’s pretty snug but will loosen over time. The outside of the case is pretty solid and the leather feels good too. If you’re traveling light and want a case to streamline what you need to carry, go with this case. Otherwise, a regular exposed front case may be the better everyday choice.

Not quite as great as last version

The leather is not as high quality as my last Otterbox Strada from several years ago, and the magnet doesn't seem as strong. Still the best phone protection I can find, but a pity the quality has gone down (while the price has not).
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not nearly as great as my old one

I loved the the Strada I had for my IPhone 6.
It felt like leather and it fit perfectly. This new one feels cheap and it doesn’t fit my phone properly. The front flap doesn’t fit or close properly and half the time it opens on its own. I bought the brown one first and then the black one. Neither fit properly. So disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is the third Strada folio I have owned and I have loved them in the past but this one does not seal closed like the other ones did the magnet seems to hold the door open slightly and won’t let it close tight.

Best case ever. Seriously

This is my second Strada case. I'm a wildfire photographer. My gear goes through abuse you couldn't imagine on the fireline. After over a year of abuse, my over-priced iPhone Pro has ZERO dings on it. Not one. The flap on this case has a magnetic clasp, and every time I drop it, that flap has miraculously prevented it from damage like an armadillo...it snaps shut in midair, and not a scratch. And I've dropped it a LOT. I've been hit by retardant, water, ash, embers...this thing is magical. AND it's very handsome and classy looking. I had to get a new one because after a year on the fire line, the flap with the magnet got worn out. I'm amazed it lasted that long. I bought 2 this time. I love this case. I've tried tons of cases, this is the most exceptional at protecting the phone and has lasted longer than any other I've had, by a LOT, and it's just really classy looking. The leather totally outperforms plastics. No contest.

This is my 3rd Strada Folio and it never fails on me. I do prefer the card inserts to face horizontally, lessening the risk of cards falling out from the top over time. However, that's small potatoes compared to the beautiful leather craftsmanship and the protection it provides my investment.

I purchased a similar phone case / "wallet" (cardholder) for my last iPhone and I think this one is even better than the last one! Great look and feel and the wallet cover ensures I don't forget my driver's license and a credit card wherever I go, while protecting the screen.
