I have been wanting a pop socket for my case but wireless charging is a challenge with this. Imagine my happiness when I saw this case with a built in pop socket that's also wireless charging compatible. NOT SO. You have to actually take the pop socket or the case off the phone for the case to be wireless charging compatible. To me, this defeats the purpose. I could have any case I want and just plug in a cord, which is actually easier. I'm very disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I was disappointed to discover it does not work with wireless charger, not even after removing the popsocket. I need to remove the whole case every time.

Otterbox has never failed me in keeping my iPhones protected. This new Symmetry + Pop series case has already saved my phone from several drops. I have 2 children under 5 and they (try) to steal my phone only to drop it right before I grab it from them.

Good protection as you’d expect from Otterbox. Not bulky. Fits easily in my pocket. The pop socket is recessed so it doesnt catch on clothes or anything either. Much better than adding one to your phone.

Love OtterBox and have had them for as long as I’ve had smartphones. I love PopSockets. I thought it’d be a great combo, and it is for the most part. Only thing I wish for is that the PopSocket to be centered in the case so I can use it as a kickstand and watch videos, and also I would like the PopSocket to Pop out more because my fingers are kinda fat so I don’t get as good of a grip, lol.
Other than that, it’s great :)

Great Case.. Doesn’t Wirelessly Charge

I just got my case in and absolutely love it and that it has the pop socket on it. My one complaint is that Otterbox claims that it works on wireless chargers. I have tried three different wireless chargers and none of them will charge it. You must charge with a cord!
I would recommend this to a friend!

We're sorry for any charging frustration while using the Otter + Pop cases. In some instances, you may have to remove the PopTop to get a better charging experience. We also recommend using wireless chargers suggested by Apple or our wireless charger, the OtterSpot to get the best results.

I’ve had this for a while now. I bought it knowing I wouldn’t be able to wireless charge, I figured it was worth it to have an incorporated pop-it. The pop-it constantly falls off. I have several variations and they all fall off constantly.
