The pop up is NOT strong enough to keep the phone propped up on an angle - iPhone 11 pro is too heavy, especially on the camera end. Also doesn't pop out far enough to allow the fingers to get all the way under it so that fingers can still grip the rim. Somewhat useful, but not everything I had hoped for
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I’ve been using my case a few days now, I love that the pop socket gives you more stability when taking photos or videos while using your phone, I have normal size fingers and I don’t have a problem with finger being underneath pop socket as mention from other customers.

I love the color so much and the pop up makes it easier to hold the phone and secure it from dropping. I love the feel and color does not fade after wiping it with disinfectant wipes. I work in the hospital so I disinfect my phone everytime. Love it highly recommended

The case is great. The only drawback is that I don’t feel the pop socket extends far enough from the case for my fingers to have a solid grip on the phone. I had a self-installed strap on my previous phone case (also an Otterbox) and I preferred that to the pop socket.

Good fit, and chose smooth finish in order to stick on a metal plate for magnet car mount.
I chose this case mainly for it's built in pop socket. The placement is too low, below center, to use as a prop up vertically. If using the pop socket while using phone right handed, your index finger lands in the camera lens. I tried setting screen orientation upside down (for using socket as a stand), but then the socket rubber collapses under the iphone 11's weight. The case itself is sturdy and protective. The rubber edge past the plastic, does extend up past the screen height. That way if you lay your phone on it's face, screen doesn't touch surface.

while I am still getting used to the new camera design of the iPhone 11 Pro, the case is bright and vibrant. This is not my first otterbox case but in comparison to the other Symmetry cases, I wasn't a fan of the shiny back - since it is slick.
With that said, it does have the pop grip and the side to handle the phone securely. I dropped my phone yesterday. - for some reason, the pop grip came off while extended and it shouldn't have - my phone is without a scratch the case, not so much. Overall, I'm pretty pleased and get lots of compliments on the color
