Fun track for Mario fans!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My boys love Mario so this was a big hit! Seeing if donkey Kong come get passed his nemesis was loads of fun! They now want to get more of the tracks and cars!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The rock track is awesome and the only reason for 3 stars. Works great and the anticipation of the rock coming down is a lot of fun for the kids.
However, the Donkey Kong/Chain Ball leaves a lot to be desired. The car is not spring launch, but you have to manually hit the launch arm. The problem is that you have to hit it really hard to make the gap, which usually results in flipping the track.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My boys love Mario and Hot Wheels. This toy is a perfect combination of the two. They have a blast racing their cars around the track. It is like a real version of Mario Kart! We have the Pirahana Plant and the Whomp sets. The boys can;t wait to get the last one, the Chain Chomp! It is great that all of the sets connect. The only problem is that the cars get stuck every once in a while, but this is a problem for most race sets. Of all of the Hot Wheels sets that my boys have, this one is their favorite. They will play for it for a very long time.

Hours of Fun

I had very few issues putting it together and the instructions were easy to understand. From start to finish it only took a few minutes to put together.

Cute idea, poor execution

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son loves hot wheels and Mario kart, however, this track was junky and didn’t work well. Only one out of fifty tries does the donkey Kong car actually jump the missing track. It is boring; it would have been nice if there were two tracks where the Mario kart characters could actually race.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Some issues

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were very excited to have another addition to my sons Hot Wheels Track! Setting it up was easy, the design looks great, but unfortunately functionality did not measure up. The "Trap" does not trigger by running over the lever, but falls when the car hits the base. The reason the car hits the base is that the "shooter" is hard to navigate; it either does not stay in place until released or it has so much power it pushes the car over the side of the track. Sadly my son lost interest in using both these items (Trap and Shooter), but is using the rest within his track system as additional tracks.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hot Wheels Mariokart Chain Chomp Track Set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The coolest part of this track set was the Donkey Kong Hot wheel. The kids loved when Donkey Kong would fly over the ramp and miss Chain Chomp. The only bad part is you got to spend another $80.00 for the full Mario Race track set. Just to attach part of this race track toy. So you be the judge and since its Mario play away.
