We had this delivered on November 5, 2020 and it is now November 18, 2020. My 3 year old and 18 month old who both weigh about 30 pounds each loved this while it lasted! Today my 3 year old was going down the slide and we heard a pop, some of the internal seam split. A few minutes later another pop and the rest of the internal seam split so the edges of the slide (blue) look completely mismatched. I don't exactly want my kids to continue playing with it and wait for the internal tears to become external, especially because with my luck, it would happen immediately after the warranty expires. Not sure what to do now. It has always been used indoors.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great fun but ripped seam leaves a hole

I purchased this during quarantine, kids used it and loved it. However, after having it for just a week I noticed the seam was never sown properly and we have a giant hole, it stays mostly inflated but it noticably loses air when kids go down the slide (locaton of hole). For the money I was hoping it would be better constructed.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Fatal flaw

My kids received this as a gift for Christmas so we had to wait for warmer weather to use it which was four months later. I have a three year old and a five year old, so it was within the weight range. On its third use, the tube split open at the shoe storage pouch mounted on the side of the tube. The stitching holding the pouch onto the tube was the apparent weak spot because that’s where the split started. My advice to little tikes, get rid of the shoe storage net on the side no one uses it anyhow. Unfortunately, the split is so huge it’s not repairable. It’s a shame to dispose of it being brand new...

Easy Set Up; Kids love it!

We bought this for our three year old daughter's birthday party rather than renting one. After seeing how easy it was to set up and take down from our friend's that own this very one, we decided why rent and invest. I set it up on the weekends during the day and break it down each night and it's no problem at all for me to do alone. Sure, if hubby is home, then he does it. :) Bottom line is the kids enjoy every minute of playing in it. My 16 month old can also play and isn't swallowed up by the her big sister and our neighbor. I would say it fits about 4 kids comfortably.

My father in law Got this for my 18 month old for Christmas. Not even 10 hours in the slide has a rip in it….
No one but the 18 month old was on it … me and my husband stood in shock as it tore and deflated right ontop of my daughter.

Good fun but disappointing durability.

We purchased this product in fall of 2019, and have used it about a dozen times. Very quick and easy to set up, lots of fun, it was a hit with our kids, aged 7, 4, & 3. Initial quality seemed pretty good, although there were several areas where stitching seemed irregular. I can't comment on weather resistance except to note that the colors (particularly the red on the slide) have faded slightly in the sunlight over several days outside - we never left it set up overnight or in the rain. Unfortunately one of the seams on the slide burst open today - the stitching just unraveled starting near the middle of the seam. If I can get at it to re-stitch the seam, there might be some hope of saving it... otherwise it's just another very expensive disposable toy. It's worth noting that the warranty on fabric and stitching is only 90 days, so perhaps this should be an indication of its life expectancy - although I can appreciate that from a manufacturer's point of view, this isn't the sort of product that can be sold with a long warranty. Perhaps if the stitching quality had been better, this would have survived longer - I think there was probably a defect in the seam that let go, as it was bulging upward more than the others since it was new. I suggest that if you notice this on yours, you should probably call customer service to discuss it right away (I didn't...). I also expect that it would last much longer with smaller kids. Given price paid and number of uses before it broke, rentals may have been better value for us.

It’s not strong enough

Built Tough!

I bought mine originally at Toys R Us & have had it for 6 years, yes I did say 6. My kids are now older so they no longer want to play on it so I'm getting rid of it. But I must say, Little Tikes built this thing tough!!!!! Be careful what & where you buy, there are some who are selling knock-offs out of China with the Little Tikes label on it. Be sure to buy from a reputable place. One last thing, if had to do this all over again, I would have brought this out for my children to play on every weekend. They grow up so fast & when this stage is over, it's gone forever. Enjoy your little ones, Rhonda
