Lower Quality & Nothing Like the Original Verson.

I bought the racer for my grandkids based upon having purchased the original yellow coup for my daughter back in the early eights and she loved it. It lasted until she grew too big to even sit in it. It was a very durable coup and assembled well without any problems. However, this model is NOTHING like the earlier version. While it looks really sporty, it is not of the same quality, and I don't anticipate it lasting as my daughter's. The material is not as durable, the assembly is below average with difficult fitting parts. It is a shame that little tikes have obviously dropped the original version for a cheaper product such as this. Over the years I have purchased little tikes toys and was never disappointed until now. The only reason I gave it two stars is based upon it's looks and nothing else.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this today we were so excited we took it out there is so many parts so make sure ypu are handy the front of it liked a scratched but not to bad the only thing I can say it is so hard to put together but I bet its so fun
