[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this due to the covid pandemic for added in home peace of mind and protection. I use it in the living room which is where everyone passes through or where any conversations may happen, right next to the kitchen. I can tell it works simply by the dust and pet hair that collection on the outside front of the unit. I simply wipe it with a paper towel every 3 days or so, or as often as needed. What I like about the until it the colored light on the outside that indicates the surrounding air quality. Red for bad, green for good and yellow for in between. The filter is easily replaceable and lasts a while. I ran my unit for 3 months Straight day and night before I ordered and replaced the filter, just to be on the safe side. The unit is quiet and overall I'm very pleased with it. I would recommend this to anyone
