Go w/ older version, new blade burns

Go with the older version, this new blade burns out. I had the original version for years and no issues. Got the newer type and within a year you get burning smells. loose metal, awful. Contacted NB and they said you need to buy a new blade every 6 months! This newer version is terrible.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nutribullet Select is simply awesome - I purchased for smoothies and have only done smoothies at this time. Smooth, non-grainy outcome. The extract feature is fantastic, it does the work for you. The easy-twist feature truly is easy twist, great for weak hands, or arthritic hands; possibly for smaller hands too. Easy cleanup Overall - a great blender.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Too loud to use

Love this for the first year. Just after that, it started to get louder. Now at the point where it is painful on the ears to use (maybe bearing gone?). Disappointed that I only got a year out of this.

Not so Great!

I bought less than a year ago. Barely used it and now when I used it it had a burning smell and it won’t turn on. I really love the product but disappointed with this one I have an old Nutra bullet and loved it as well and still have a little issues but it’s still running good but this one very disappointing

I have used this for smoothies

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This blender works great. I am primarily using it for smoothies. Just a little liquid and a bunch of frozen fruit. Haven't had anything get stuck. The square base keeps things from being stuck in corners. Would recommend.

Not worth it

Our blender lasted maybe four months before it sounded like a bearing failed. It has gotten extremely loud and under performs. The blade attachment also leaks every time it’s used.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Nutribullet select is a powerful little machine. I like that it has different speeds instead of just an on and off button. I chose it because I like the handles on the cups that fit it. I was worried about leaking while blending because there were several comments that says it leaks. I don't think it leaks but since you turn the cup upside down and the lid doesn't come up around it, it makes it look as if it is going to run out the bottom. I haven't had any leaking, but I tend to make sure the blade part is screwed on tight. I would suggest buying an extra cup or two because you only have one to use besides the pitcher and it always seems to be dirty.

Little Blender packs a Big Punch!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this blender originally to go in my guest house. I thought it would be easy to clean and small for a smaller kitchen. I gave it a try after hearing my guests talk about how they loved it. Needless to say, I keep it in my house now.
What I love is that is so small and portable. I have a large blender but hardly use it because it’s so big and I have to get it out of the cabinet and usually I just don’t. This one is so small and doesn’t take up much counter space, therefore since it’s out I use it a lot more. The best part is it functions every bit as well as my large blender. I do a lot of frozen smoothies with ice or frozen fruit and it blends them super smooth and fine. It does very well with kale/greens to extract them to a fine liquid.
The bonus for me is the extra cups it comes with. So if you are making multiple smoothies you don’t have to immediately wash the cup. It also has suction cups on the bottom to keep it steady while blending.
I’m incredibly impressed this little bullet has so much power.
