3 year old and 8 month old love this toy!

Got this Activity garden for my 8 month old daughter she loves it and so does her 3 year old brother... she loves opening and closing the door the most and I love that there is a gap beside the door to keep little hands safe... she uses every part of the toy already except the telescope. crawling around and through and standing... my son who is three loves the telescope and uses it as a little house by answering the door, checking the mail etc .... the shutters are also great fun for peek a boo.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Oh how the quality of little tikes has changed over the years. This is not the solid plastic used on previous products. This is a flimsy product that does not give ample support to the child. The design is flawed. If you have the mailbox door open you can’t open the front door properly. The mailbox also can be pulled right off by a small infant. We had a little tikes garden years ago and it was solid and well made. That is not the case with this product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Caution

Just bought this for my 2 year old for his birthday in May. This morning I heard him screaming, he got his finger stuck in part of this toy where the telescope is… had to under the toy and rush him to the ER to get it cut off of him. The plastic is so thick that it took them 30+ mins to get it off. His finger is cut and very swollen, but thankfully we got it off in time for him to keep his finger. Please be aware if you have this toy!! So sad that my sons favorite toy is going into the dumpster today..

Very flimsy, disappointed.

I LOVE little tikes products, but I’m truly disappointed with this one. My son received this as a gift, and I was so excited about it. It is NOT for older toddlers. My older son (just turned 2 in June) is way too big for it. I wanted it open to fit better in the playpen since my 8.5 month old can’t figure out how to get out of the door or the little slide. It is so flimsy!! The piece the door is on shakes horrible with minimal pressure on it. The stock photos show the slide by the piece the shutters are on when it’s open. It doesn’t fit right, the purple part at the bottom is too far out for them to fit comfortable together. It just seems pretty unsafe for my baby to play with, like it will just fall over on him.

I have worked with toddlers for many years as a toddler teacher and now have a 9 month old daughter we bought this for her for Christmas as I was putting it together I was very disappointed it is very flimsy and cheap the screws " holding it together" barely did that I continued hoping I was wrong about the toy and the end result the toy would feel sturdy and safe seeing how anyone with a baby or toddler knows their child's going to be leaning on and climbing all over it . when I was done putting it together the way the directions had told me I knew there was no way it could take a 9 month old leaning on it even a little not to mention the mailbox and shutter window hinges were very stiff and the door was not big enough for her to fit through. The toy may have been a little bit sturdier with it in the closed position but it was so small she wouldn't have for inside .. I don't know how this toy said to be up to 36 months when my 9 month old is too big for it I was so disappointed I waisted 80 on it I do not recommend this toy to anyone big waist of money

Wish it was bigger

I was so excited to buy this for my son. I only saw it online and not In person so I guess that was my mistake. It’s so small! I thought based on the pictures that it was bigger so I was disappointed in that.

I am fooled by the little tikes website.
The activity garden does not come with the learning clock and Learn numbers in English, Spanish or French with the press of a button.
If you want those features, don't purchase this one, purchase the Discover Sounds Activity Garden.
My 2 years old son is Disappointed because he wants to play the phone and the clock, but he likes to open and close the door again and again.

Fun Toy

I bought this for my daughter's first birthday and both she and her 4-year-old brother really loved it. She has a blast climbing all over it and using all the different toys. It took a little while to put together because there are quite a few things to screw together, but it was easy enough to follow the instructions to do it.
I would recommend this to a friend!
