I have to carry a lot of wires, adapters, gadgets, papers, etc. with my laptop, and my old Targus bag was so big, bulky, and heavy to carry around, I finally got wise and bought this wheeled bag. There are ample pockets and compartments for all my doodads, big and little. The telescoping handle is plenty long so I don't have to slouch to pull the bag around, and yet it folds up and is small enough to fit on top of my Samsonite Cosmolite 3.0's handle so I can carry them both easily through airports. The side strap slides over my Cosmolite handle so the two bags stay steady together as I pull them around.
The bag sides are a bit stiff so the bag won't get stretched out like my old soft side Targus bag, and it protects the contents well. The wheels roll very easily, so it's a breeze to pull even when fully loaded.
The zippers are heavy duty, better quality than my other laptop bags.
Only thing I don't like about this bag is the built-in USB charging cable. It's designed so you can have your cell phone inside your bag and connect a USB charging cable to the female jack in the outside pocket of the bag. I don't need that feature, and the cable inside the bag gets slightly in the way, but no big deal.
Very pleased with this bag!

Meh....not so great

I bought it 12 months ago as i travel heavily for work. Pockets and design is good but handle retraction has issues. Upon calling Samsonite they want me to pay to ship it back to get "serviced". Cant bring it basck to store where i bought it to have them deal with their issues??!?!?! I am going back to Briggs & Reilly who stands behind their product. Samsonite you have to fight tooth and nail to get them to fix their problems... i have no time for that.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent construction, Measurements are off

I have researched extensively a rolling laptop bag, briefcase and this one is prime. The listed measurements of inside are in fact the outside dimensions. No way this is 12 in deep. Had I not measured it myself would not have purchased it. Well constructed as ballistic nylon not poly, the professional 3 year warranty and better constructed handle and wheels.
