I had to return my computer today 5/15/24. Unfortunately, I was given incorrect information about the questions that I had. Fortunately, I was able to order a new computer.
This model is humming louder than my old pc which was only the fan, windows 11 is not easy to find program files, drivers, system file has left column lettering much smaller than selected file as is all windows on PC.
My new HP PC arrived with no owner's manual, just a few poorly drawn images of how to get started. I moved from a perfectly working HP PC with Windows 7, but Microsoft sent me messages every few days warning me that it would no longer support W7 products. So I bought a Windows 10 PC which has no obvious, intuitive way to do anything. I have no idea how to shut it down - the start button now has a long list of things they want me to buy, but not how to shut down. If I use a USB port for an external hard drive, it plays a little tune, but nothing appears and the drive cannot be found. (Friend/neighbors have this issue also.) I'm afraid I've lost a mountain of old family photos I spent months scanning and trying to preserve. My large music collection is on the old hard drive too. I bought a plug/play cord which supposedly lets you see the drive onscreen so you can transfer data, but no. Still going to try the external hard drive for transfer which is where I copied all my data originally. This is my 3rd HP PC (the first two were excellent) and with this new PC and Windows 10, I wish I had kept my simple trusty W7 machine. You shouldn't have to search the depths of the internet to make a new product work - this is ridiculous! I'm beyond disappointed.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought two of these machines for a client and set them up to replace older systems. Other than not being able to get them delivered with Windows 10 Pro, which I had to buy and install separately, these systems are stellar, and make very good business machines for many users.
