Now 2 years into ownership of the Kitchenaid Duel Fuel 48” Commercial Style gas range. We could NOT be happier. This purchase was just one of the 5 other Kitchenaid large appliances for our renovation. Easy to use, precise in its performance and EXTRAORDINARY looks, best describe this range. And the griddle is PERFECT for Sunday morning pancakes.

Center Attraction to our new kitchen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had purchased all new Kitchenaid appliances for our kitchen remodel. The 48" dual fuel range was the best decision we ever made. We originally were going to do a 36" but decided to add the griddle and the extra 1/2 oven. This range is the main focus point of the kitchen now and we are loving learning all new recipes and cooking with gas. You feel the quality and soon as you fire it up and use the different knobs and dials. We are loving what the range has done for our kitchen.

Worth the wait

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ABSOLUTELY LOVE my new range. I waited 10 months to get it and it was worth the wait for sure. I have only found one flaw and that’s if you lean on the burner knobs or brush against them they are very easily turned so that they turn on the gas slightly so that could be an issue if it’s not noticed before carbon monoxide got into the room but other than that I am in love with this range.

I purchased the extended warranty and I have to tell you thank goodness the first range I had was nothing but problems with the sensor board not working and the oven shutting off routinely. Finally they recognized and honored their extended warranty after I lost the % for years owned was that done on purpose? I wondered - I replaced it with another 48” dual fuel due to the incentive of the extended warranty buyback and what happens it’s Wi-Fi connected the thermostat does not work properly. I overcook my food in this oven. I can’t get it to be exact and KitchenAid tells me to lower my temperature I lower the temperature and now the food doesn’t cook properly and I’m back to it over cooking and I am pulling out 10 to 20 min before recommended time - what is the right temperature? I ask myself I put it sensensor temp gauge in there and guess what it reads the temperature that I’m cooking it but it’s ruining my food, the latest now is the cleaning mechanism does not work and don’t get me started on the Wi-Fi connecting and disconnecting. What a piece of junk. This item is a lemon and once again the extended warranty keeps getting declined to replace this unit or give me my money back so I can purchase a Quality product that is dependable and works.

Looks and works great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our 48 inch KitchenAid dual fuel range finally arrived and it looks and works great. The ovens heat up very fast and the burners work extremely well. Converting to Propane was easily accomplished by the install crew. Two suggestions for future improvement: The burner caps should be heavier/thicker and should stay in place in a better fashion. The front bottom plate leg facade are very flimsy and do not stay firmly in place and could be designed much better. Overall, the range looks very nice and works extremely well.

Hard to keep clean

The burners and grill are difficult to keep clean because the right angles of the bent and formed steel create pockets where food stuffs build up and its difficult to keep it cleaned and free from buildup. The control panel on the front top surface is sensitive to touch and because of its location its hard to avoid when cooking or cleaning, so the oven is easily turned off while cooking on the stove top. Also, random error messages randomly appear on the control; panel display and restating the oven is often necessary. Overall its an impressive oven but ultimately its impractical because of its design flaws. The build quality is very high and the material are quality. But, it was a constant battle every meal preparation for the 2.5 years we had it. That said, we did replace it with a different Kitchenaid oven.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had bought a different Kitchenaid range last year (previous model). Had issues from day one. It could not be repaired because of parts shortages due to Covid so they just replaced it with this one! A newer, upgraded range. Thank you Kitchenaid for doign the right thing!
Love the knob controls, soft close doors, new burners, etc...
