Love the stove - hate the wifi alarm!

We have had this stove for a year now and we love everything about it except one feature - the audible alarm telling you that the wifi is connected. It cooks beautifully, cleans up easily, looks amazing, but everytime the wifi goes out there is an audible alarm letting you know and of course, this happens in the middle of the night most times. Our house is smaller so the kitchen is not far away from our bedroom. The stupid alarm wakes me up about 4-5 times a month when the wifi disconnects and reconnects. We don’t use the wifi on the stove much anyway so I’ve tried to figure out how to disconnect it but there is nothing in the directions on how to disconnect the stove from the wifi. I will be calling Kichenaid to find out how to do this - a silly reason to call and sit on the phone to wait for someone to help. I don’t know why this stove was made with an audible alarm for the wifi. Why not just have it as a light, or notification on your phone, instead? Stove highly recommended but only connect the wifi if the noise of it disconnecting and reconnecting to wifi won’t bother you.

We bout this 36” kitchen ad commercial stove . The specs say 20,000 burners . BUT THEY DONT SAY IF YOU CONVERT TO PROPANE THOSE 20,000 GET RAMPED DOWN TO 13,000 BTU!! WHICH IS NO LONGER COMMERCIAL GRADE AS THEY CLAIM! NO WHERE IN THEIR SPECS US GHIS DISCLOSED!!! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IF PROPANE.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to light gas, large area for cooking. However, there is a high pitch sound, nearly undetectable, but we can hear it, coming from the large center knob for the oven. Super high pitch and always in the background. Nothing gets it to stop. Also the black enameled surface under the iron grates is not as easy to clean as I’d hoped. First time cooking left set-on stains. Overall, is functional and has a significant presence in the room; looks great at the first glance.

The large oven preheats rapidly and supplies an even temperature throughout the cooking process. The range is easy to clean, stylish, and affordable.

Bad design with having to use an app on phone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great gas cook top however having to use an app on your phone for certain functions is not convenient or easy. Oven would be much better with an old fashioned digital read out. Multiple difficulties with getting on Wi-Fi. Cannot get temp probe to change temp on app. There’s not even a timer on the oven.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Need phone app for features?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hard to believe you have to use a phone app for a timer or temp probe. Makes it very inconvenient to use these features on the oven. Just put a digital read out on the front of the oven. Who wants to have to use their phone to operate the oven?Stove burners work great.
