[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had our new range for a couple of weeks now. It's lovely, and so far has been great for cooking and baking. We cook and bake a LOT. Love having six burners (old range had a griddle in the middle), and love the burners with a simmer setting. The stovetop is easy to clean. The grates show scrapes from pans almost immediately, so if you want your stove to look brand new for a while, you'll need to be gentle.
Be advised: This range does not seem to come with a backsplash / backguard option. If you're replacing a range and previously had a backsplash, you'll need to tile the wall behind the range or otherwise protect the wall from the gas stovetop flames. The stainless backsplash from our old range does not fit on this new one. This is project #1 for us.
Project #2 is having a plumber come to relocate the gas shutoff behind the range. We previously had a kitchenaid range (from 2003), but the gas line shutoff is too tall and we can't push the new range flush with the wall until we call a plumber to have it shortened.
There is no on/off switch for the electronics on the range. When we first tried to use it, we had not yet read the instructions carefully. We managed to press buttons too soon or too often and glitched out the onboard computer, so that it was endlessly dinging at us. We had to turn it off at the breaker panel. When we turned it on again in the morning, the problem had resolved itself. Basically, we rebooted our range. Read the directions to avoid this problem.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Always wanted a 36" 6 burner...the dual fuel is great. The burners with propane are awesome...and I can preheat the oven from anywhere!!!
I purchased this stove in March. It was delivered in May. Oven broke down, constant flashing amber light with loud alert noise. Only way to turn off sound was to turn off breaker. Therefore, anytime I needed to use the gas part of the stove I would have to turn the breaker on/off.
Called customer service schedule a technician in, technician could not resolve problem. Called a second technician was advised to order parts. How much longer was I going to be left without a stove? Apparently, this is their ‘process’. I could understand if I had the stove for years, months sure go ahead replace the parts, but this stove has literally been in my possession for less than 3 months.
Nothing but headaces. Especially during these already difficult times. We don’t order take out. All my meals are homemade. Family of six. We’ve been in isolation for 6 months and now I have random people entering my home try to ‘fix’ this stove. Worst customer service. Will never order another Kitchen Aid appliance. Poor judgement, long wait times to speak with a rep, no compassion.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I selected this range during the design process of our new home and I am 100% in love with it! This is the 1st gas range that I have owned as an adult (my mom had a gas stove back in the day). The KitchenAid gas range cooks fast, but evenly. The option to download the app to operate different oven functions is a hit with me! If you love to be inspired in the kitchen, then this range is your gateway to great cuisine! I love it!
