[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love to cook and bake so this range is perfect! We prefer gas burners over electric so you can easily control the heat, but I’ve found that a gas oven doesn’t cook as evenly (my opinion). That’s why the dual fuel is so amazing! The large cooktop gives us plenty of space for when grandkids are over or for entertaining and the dual ovens are well insulated and seem to keep their individual temperatures consistent. Plus it looks amazing!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the range. It is easy to use and works very well. I don't understand why there is no timer. It seems like a very important part of cooking. I also don't like that the stainless steel isn't magnetic. If it was, I would stick a timer on the outside of the oven. I don't think I would have purchased the range if I had known about this. But other than this issue, the range works very well.
I've had the light blue double oven range for three years. The problems range from minor to ridiculous. All of the rubber feet have come off of the grates, due to "excessive heat." The electric igniter does not work quickly anymore. The light blue paint is chipping on the oven door where "it got too hot,' and it has a burn mark from heat coming out of the oven door. The hinge on the large oven is broken and we have to keep a random tool by the appliance in case the door won't open when I need to get food out. The glass on the oven door has shattered twice while the oven was in use. It is not worth the money.

Unfortunately, I also experienced the cracked cooktop grates. The first cracked within the 1 year warranty period and was replaced at no charge. The second happened at about 18 months and even though we spent a lot of money on the Certified Care extended warranty, it was not covered! I urge you to read the extensive Terms & Conditions prior to purchasing the extended warranty through KitchenAid. Section 13(e) indicates that "non-functional parts" are not covered and KitchenAid has a very broad understanding of what constitutes non-functioning! I don't know how you're supposed to use the cooktop without the grates to hold up your pots and pans!

I like the bake, stove however, the stoves knobs are too easy to release the gas on. even just a smallest bump. it will just lease the gas. you will smell the gas. it is absolutely hazards. it should be recall on the matter. I regrated buying this for this gas leak matter. it cooked well but you could die or your house burn down from gas leak .

Purchased this range in April 2024 and have not been able to use the "chrome infused griddle" and its now December. Griddle never worked properly as everything stuck to it whether oiled or not. Came to the conclusion that it wasn't heating up to temperature as the thermostat indicator lights did not work as described in the manual. Had service come and since under warranty he was to replace the griddle component and the thermostat. control. We have had 2 replacement griddle components come with significant damage as they are not properly packed for shipping. When he went to at least replace the thermostat he found that the entire front housing had to be removed which required all the knobs and housings to be removed. No big deal but he found that the screws used to attach each knob housing was of a head type he had never seen. Looked like a hex but they would not come out. Some were loose and possibly stripped. Anyway, he now has to go back to his manager and figure this out and possibly contact Kitchenaid as well as order a new griddle component for the 3rd time. In addition, the easy glide rack that came with the range did not work properly as when it was pulled out and you turned to get your food pan to put on it, it would roll back in on its own. Would not stay pulled out. Service brought a new easy glide rack and it does the same thing, albeit slower. Oven is level so that is not the issue.
Otherwise, the burners and ovens work fine, but these other problems make key features unusable. We're very disappointed as we equipped our kitchen this year with all new Kitchenaid appliances (dishwasher, fridge, drawer microwave, exhaust hood). Kitchenaid needs to step in here and get this resolved.
