Game of thrones must have!

Building sets, so when he received his game of thrones build set, he jumped right into it. In my opinion, it requires patience and a good eye due to several smaller pieces that are used to build the back wall looking all the same however they are different angles of them that need to be placed correctly otherwise it’s easy to mix up and go back to take it apart and redo a lot of it. Overall a sturdy set other than the figures which aren’t made very well since they come apart very easily with the slightest movement . Best to use them as display we believe !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 9 year old daughter received this as a gift and she did not like it. The pieces were hard to put together, she didn’t know what Game of Thrones was. She ended up playing WWE with it and then asked if she could give it away.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Neat collector’s item

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a home filled with several building block toys from another manufacturer I wondered how this item would measure up. In terms of construction I felt that it was fairly straightforward. The only exceptions were that initially the pre assembled arms and torso for John Snow and the Night King were reversed (ie. Snow’s arms were on the Night King’s torso and the Night King’s arms on Snow’s torso). The other thing that got me at first was the fact that the wall face pieces, they are kind of pentagonal shaped, have 2 different types. I hadn’t noticed initially when I organized my pieces prior to building and got quite lucky the first few times and always picked the correct piece. The instructions were direct enough that my kid and I were able to easily put the whole set together. The quality of the parts was good, the variation in coloring really enhanced the look of the wall. The figures are pretty study except for at the torso - that separates from the legs easily...which made for good “battle” imagery. The figures Also had a lot more detail to them than I was expecting given the size. Speaking of the size - initially I was expecting the figures to be larger because of the box art. Having said that they did have a very nice level of detail to them. The figures range in motion was great, which allowed the figures to be posed in many scenes. I see this set more as a collector’s item than a traditional children’s play toy since the subject of the set is not something of which a young child would be aware.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was offered to sample products. I chose this because my husband is a huge fan. I got the product and put it together. I thought the people would be a little bigger like the box shows. The pieces didnt feel cheap at all. Overall I think this product is great. I just wish the people were bigger, also John Snow felt pretty cheaply made compared to the others.
