The little machine is fine at first but it doesn’t last very long. I’m on my third one in a 2 year time period. If it sucks up any moisture at all you might as well kiss it goodbye.

2. Check the Bag Seal: Verify that the zipper on the vacuum bag is firmly closed. Slide your fingers across the entire zipper to ensure it's sealed properly.
3. Inspect for Debris: Examine the area around the seal for any food particles, moisture, or grease, as these can prevent proper sealing. If present, clean the area and try sealing again.
4. Flat Surface Placement: Ensure that the air valve is on a flat surface without any food underneath, which can interfere with the vacuum process.
5. Charge the Sealer: Confirm that the sealer is fully charged. A full 24-hour charge allows the device to seal up to 60 quart-size bags.

I have had 2 foodsaver machines and somehow the handheld on both was rendered useless. When I saw this and that I wouldn’t have to replace my machine yet again I was tickled! This savior had every bit of suction and has nothing I need worry of breaking off. You won’t regret this purchase
