Won't work with other bags. I tried this sealer with another brand of bag with a blue seal. Doesn't work. Must be proprietary bags only. That sucks.

Very disappointed.

I usually dont do reviews and really didnt want to leave a bad one, but I am a little frustrated since this is my 3rd try with these. I purcjased 2 of the FS2110 separate time and love how they seal. But they both stop working within 6 months So i decided to switched to the V1100 and I am very disappointed 1st you have to hold it the whole time to seal and 2nd it does not work on the bags I have from the FS2110 or the containers. I have the regular foodsaver and love it, but sometimes I just need to quick store food and thought this little one would be perfect. I would return it but its not worth it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We are on our 3rd sealer and they have all stopped working in the first or second month after purchasing. Will never purchase again. So dissatisfied and disappointed with this foodsaver.
