I loved the old handheld sealer, but this one is easier to use and charges more easily. Works well on resealable bags.

I bought this item because the accessory on my large machine Foodsaver broke and since it is built in, I can not replace it. The power on this hand held one is not very strong and you have no way of knowing when it is done when vacuuming a mason jar.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We have a regular food saver and didnt like pulling it out for resealable bags. Yet, i was always getting mad at wasted food or feeling like food wasnt good eventhough everyone else did. Purchased this little guy and so glad i did. It keeps veggies and fruit fresh for days, or longer. I dont see the waste we had and i am eatting healthier. Hoping it lasts a good while as i use it multiple times a day. If not, i will be getting another. You wont be disappointed if you like freash food, saving money, and food saver!

I wish I had used this type of vacuum bag and this hand held device years ago. I love my full size vacuum sealer. However, the quart size zip bags and this vacuum works perfectly for items in my refrigerator and freezer. It is easy to use and needs little storage space.
