As advertised. Works good, so far; but don’t know how long it will last, as this is my 3rd handheld vacuum sealer in 5 years (I generally use 2-10 times a week). I’ve owned 2 foodsaver handheld vacuum sealers, which the first last a few years; so far they’re better than the other brands. I believe that the foodsaver handheld vacuum sealer is worth the purchase, just wish that they would last longer than a few years (it seems that the newer products don’t last as long as the older ones).
I would recommend this to a friend!

Stops working after a few months

I am now on my second one and it too stopped working. Worked great when it worked. Both that I bought stopped working only a few months after I purchased it. Looks from the reviews it’s a common problem.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I was already a vacuum sealer and used the attachment to a full size for the resealable bags. This handheld sealer is faster and so handy. I use it daily and now it’s easy to seal sliced cheese every time I use it, making it last way longer. My favorite kitchen purchase in recent memory!
