Great size for a small household

I am very pleased with this compact Food Sealer... it does not take up a lot of room on the counter and works just great for a single person who only needs to seal small portions.

Constant use - excellent 'gadget'

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this for over a year and it performs great on a day to day basis. I use it with the 'socket' for the newer green topped containers. I remove the socket for the 'stem' for the older white topped, round canisters. And, back to the socket for my older marinate dish. I marinate quite a bit. And really like the convenience using to to store often used dry goods.

Great for sealing zip top bags, but containers....

This works great for the zipper bags with out any issues. As far as being able to use with other containers like the fresh containers for fruit or the flat containers for deli meats and cheeses, it simply does not work. You can get it to work on the flat containers for deli meats but I had to use an adapter I still has from a previous hand held sealer to get it to work. If it had adapters available for this unit to be used with the other containers I'd have give it a full five stars but as far as vac sealing the zip top bags, this works flawlessly.
I would recommend this to a friend!
