Already stopped working, button won't press down and company wont respond

I have purchased both this one and evidently a newer one that also Marinates. I have used both. The vacuum works fine. I am not sure about the Marinate cycle. It did cycle several times but I am not sure that it vacuums. The little green dimple gadget did not show that it was vacuuming. So I'm not sure about that function.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Compact unit doesn't have the same power as old model. Had a gallon sized zipper vacuum bag and it struggled to remove the air. Nice size but under powered.
