Love the features.

Works really well. I use the hose attachment a lot marinating meat for jerky. Got tired of getting pop up ads so I had to order one.

I've used my sealer several times now. At first, I was making the bags wrong and thought I had made a mistake buying the machine. After thinking over what I was doing, I realized I was putting the bag I made (and the pre-made bags) too far into the machine. When I backed the edge out to not go beyond the edge of the vacuum line, everything now works fine. I recently had leftover take-out Chinese that I didn't want to throw away, so quickly made a bag then vacuum sealed it and put it in the freezer. Pleased to not be wasteful and that I'd done it so quickly and easily. Don't be afraid to buy this machine! It might take some trial and error to learn it but once you do, I'm sure you'll be as happy with your purchase as I am with mine!

I have had a Food Saver for about ten years and when it stopped vacuuming I knew that it was time to buy a new food vacumn system. There was never a thought about any other brands, because the Food Saver worked for so long and it was a joy to be able to buy in bulk and freeze in portion size meals

So far I have been pleased. Took a few tries to get the hang of the correct size to make my bags. Also you do need to partialy freeze items that have any moisture. Make sure you do not get any food on edge of bag or the bag will not seal. So easy to reheat foods. Either drop in a pot of hot water put the lid on for about 10 minutes or vent bag and pop in microwave. This works well for us. We travel in a motor home and it is quick and easy to have a hot home cooked meal in minutes. The bags take up leas space in my freezer than frezzer containers. The negative so far was how long it took to recieve the item when I ordered directly from food saver. Also it is hard to get accurate reviews on the product due to all the different product numbers, which it seems all products starting with the number 3 thousand wheather it be. 3100, 3200, 3400 what ever all seem to be the same product. I have had my foodsaver about a month. I have frozen vegetables, meats, mashed potatoes and spaghetti and it has all done very nicely. Will update after I have had the product a bit longer.
