I received the FoodSaver FM3920 as a gift as to upgrade from my previous FoodSaver V2244. Now don't get me wrong I was very happy with my FoodSaver V2244, BUT OH MY GOSH the FM3920 Has everything!!! Cutter, Roll storage and retractable handheld sealer. This machine has all the extras that make me feel like a FoodSaver Queen! I highly recommend it!

Worked great until it didn't

This is my 4th machine in 10 years. I have decide I am not buying this brand anymore. I will try a different name brand, hopefully not made in China. Seems like they work great for a year are two until something breaks, and no more. This unit worked great until it stopped one day. I opened it up and inside I see a burnt out compositor in the circuit board. I don’t have a solder gun and I don’t work on this kind of repairs. So here I am back to this again. Made in China sucks.

The food saver was easy to use and I was able to get my food sealed up quickly and with no hassle. The unit is small enough to not take much space in the kitchen while large enough to handle my bigger needs. Great unit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love this Foodsaver vacuum sealer. I had one many years ago that worked well but this one is definitely a big improvement over the earlier versions. The handheld sealer which is attached to the machine is a great accessory. I have already purchased a canister to use with the product and a pair of wine preservers. The machine works great with both of these. There is a moist food setting on this which is great when you have to seal something that is very juicy. The handheld sealer also works with their vacuum zipper bags as well the older containers and bottle stoppers. The vacuum seal has turned out perfect on everything so far. I have bought and sealed a huge quantity of chicken cutlets as well as several steaks. All came out exactly the way they should. I love my new Foodsaver and will be using it often!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The FM3000 series seems to perform very well. It has a good vacuum and seals as expected. I do wish it came with the marinator accessory or one of the vacuum canisters. I do like the cord storage and the retractable accessory hose so there is no loosing it. I also think the internal bag roll storage and built-in bag cutter are great. The price could be a little lower but if it lasts long and saves you money in the long run it is worth it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Food Saver FM3600 Series is a great overall product. The vacuum seal is great. It performs well. Gives an air tight seal. The food saver bag seal is very good. I had no issues with my seals. All bags remained sealed for weeks with no problems. I sealed fruits and vegetables and all products are still fresh after 3 weeks. The vacuum seal is air tight and it preserves my products. There is only one issue I found. The owners manual does not include instructions to plug in the appliance. The instruction tells you how to use the product but there are no instructions to indicate that this is an electrical product that needs to be plugged in. They need to include that as the first step in the instructions.
