I've been getting by for the last few years with a cheap laptop with about 4GB memory (no complaints, it did what it needed to do), but when I finally had the chance to upgrade, I knew I wanted something much faster that could power my freelance writing business. I shopped around (a lot!) and I could not find a better laptop for the specs and price than the HP Pavilion. I loved the fact that I could customize the various components (memory, SSD, etc.). After it arrived, it's like I'm in a different world... it's soooo fast!! I finally have a computer that can keep up with me. I'm really pleased with the value. (I've been buying HP for years, and they've never let me down.)

I have only been using this for a week, but it is a great computer. Nice design - lightweight, but solid. Keypad touch is great and I love the backlighting option. The setup was the simplest ever. And - it is FAST - a noticeable improvement of the things I do.

It took 3 weeks to recieve my customized Pavilion laptop and it was missing the hard drive, so now I need to wait another two weeks. Do the words quality control mean anything?

Even though I wasn't happy about the shipping process because it took longer than expected even though I paid for expedited shipping, I am very pleased with my laptop. My cousin builds laptops so he picked all the specs of what I needed and it is working great. The processor is super fast which is exactly what I needed and I thought that there wasn't life after having a Macbook Pro for over 10 years but I was terribly mistaken.The look is amazing and the touch screen gives you the feel of having a tablet as well as a laptop. All of the many projects that I have and many apps that I use work very well with my HP and I couldn't be happier. I would definitely recommend this to my friends and coworkers.

I love the size & that I was able to get a laptop in another color rather than Silver. The ONLY thing I can gripe about is at night I can't see the keys as well, should have got the backlight.
