I bought this laptop at the beginning of Dec. 2020 and it lasted about a month before it started making a horrible grinding noise from the fan. I've only used to play wow and the sims and I have a cooling laptop fan so it's not overheating. I contacted HP to have it serviced and to fix the issue. Sent the laptop in, it was gone for about a month and then when I finally received it back they hadn't even fixed the issue. They literally updated the bios which I had already done and that was all. I will never purchase another HP laptop based on the hardware issues they seem to have.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The laptop is very fast, has the features I was looking for, just an issue with the office product key, I had to wait a few days until I got it calling to the HP support, it should have come printed with the package slip

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fast Processor. I love back-lit display. Simple setup, however a minor issue was that the touchpad did not have most recent drivers. Still prefer a laptop with Blu-ray player, however this model, with its features, was a very good value. That being said, i would have also preferred 3- built-in 3.0 USB ports
