[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you have kids that love building toys (like Legos) and Pokemon this is a great combination of both! My boys love Pokemon and are finally able to combine that in a toy they can build and play with. Great product.

Fun to play with and display

I was excited to give this set to my 8 year old son, because Eevee and Eevee's evolutions are some of our favorites. It's awesome that this set is complete with 9 builds, including Eevee. My son was very excited to get started building by himself, but he did need a bit of help. Most of the parts are pretty easy to put together, but there are some that take a bit more finesse. My husband and I enjoyed building along with him, and it only took us about 15-20 minutes to put together our first figures. I found that sorting the similar parts first made it go quicker.
We think the directions could be a bit clearer, but they were fairly easy to follow. We were confused for a minute because sometimes it will show what looks like one piece being added, but really it is a combination of multiple pieces. I think the individual pieces for each step should be listed, but it was easy enough once we figured that out.
The figures are really fun with great articulation of the head, legs and tail. Some of the parts like Jolteon's collar and tail have a nice rubbery feel. The materials look nice and seem durable. This is a set that can be played with or displayed or both.
I definitely recommend this set. This was our first time trying Pokemon Mega Construx, but my son has already added more to his wish list.

A Pokefan's Dream

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son was so excited when be recieved this Mega Construx pack, he was literally jumping up and down! A set of Pokemon Mega Construx is great but an epic evolution set with every single evolution of Evee is almost beyond words. The packaging is great, all of the Pokemon have their own compartment that open individually. That meant we could put one or two together and not worry about being overwhelmed with pieces. Each compartment has it's Pokemon pieces and instuctions so everything is kept separate until you are ready for them. When you finish putting together the fun is not done, Evee and all of the evolutions have so many movable parts it is adorable. My son made an Evee paradise and the battles are still raging. Everyone in the family has a favorite evolution.

Fun to build!

He did it all himself with the exception of a few parts that were pretty hard to snap together. They look just as you would expect and he's even taken them back apart and put them back together again since then! The legs do move so you can make them walk however some of those parts don't stay together as well as they should.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered this with my 8 year old in mind, who is a Pokemon fanatic, and cant get enough of building block sets. This set did not disappoint! Firstly the packaging is awesome, very colorful and true to Pokemon style. We love that there is a set of bricks for 9 different versions of Eevee, and each set seperated for the building of the individual Eevees was very convenient. Lots of tiny pieces, wouldnt recommend for very small children, but that is clearly marked on the box. The building instructions were clear, and easy enough to understand by a 8 year old. Overall, this a very good product, quite pleased with this Pokemon toy.

Great for older kids!
