Amazing phone for the price. Good camera also
on August 4, 2019

My original phone (Essential PH1) died while on vacation, so I went to a local Walmart and purchased this Moto G7 Optimo Maxx for $179.00, just to get me by for a week. I was then going to buy a flagship phone. After using it for a few days, it's an amazing phone, especially for the price. Screen looks so much more clearer than 270ppi. Camera is good. Phone is responsive with no lag, even with multiple apps running. Battery life is unbeatable, 2 to 3 days between charges. I'm keeping it for my primary phone....it's that good.

Great Phone
on November 2, 2019

Long-time owner of brands that cost $800 or more and was ready for an upgrade. Love this phone and all the features. Some features are motion activated like the flashlight and do not disturb. I can testify that the battery lasts a long time. Tired of charging twice a day with my old phones, I'm glad I bought this phone. With active usage, I got two and a half days of life. On a typical day I might go through 25% battery. Another family member bought this phone when it was first released and is happy as well.

Awesome phone

I really like this phone, it has fantastic specs for the price. This phone has amazing battery life. I am charging my phone less often. The fingerprint sensor is very convenient. This phone does a decent job for playing pubg but still don't meet required specs for fortnite. I wish the screen was a little more brighter but I still like the phone. I recommend a case because the back feels slippery. I'm really happy with this phone.

I bought this phone about a month ago. WOW, more power, lasts for 2-3 days without recharging. When you do need to recharge, it does it rapidly. More RAM (3GB) and Octicore processor. Operates fast. 9 Android OS. Rock bottom bargain @ $129!

What a phone for $130!

I paid , I think, $179 for my Maxx; and that is a good deal. At $129, you're stealing. As good as any $800 phone. Battery lasts, really, 3 days of normal use. Great camera, plenty of RAM, nice size. Great features like chop for flashlight, twist for camera, face down for DND. Believe me, you CANNOT beat this phone at ANY price.
Get one!! You wont be sorry...

Best Android Phone I've owned
on February 27, 2020

Have owned this for 4 months. It is awesome. I've had lg and Samsung lowered ends and this blows them away. With the 3g ram it is always fast, never hangs up or needs reboot. Even better than the iPhones I've owned. I highly recommend if looking for inexpensive Android. Also love the fingerprint button.

Verified Purchase:Yes
I bought this phone to replace my moto G6. I loved that phone but it was time to upgrade. The battery on this phone is exceptional. I love that the screen is larger than the G6. It's much easier to read. The resolution is less but I don't really notice much difference. I do notice it is considerably faster. The pics I took with it seem decent. For 99 dollars I am pleased. Motorola makes decent low end phones that rival mid grade phones. Transfer of files was easy with the transfer wizard tool available on Google play. I added a micro sd card for additional storage. It accepts in to a 512gb card. Why pay hundreds for a phone. This phone has everything I need.

Motorola Software Problem
on August 2, 2020
Posted by: Carolyn Jamsa
This phone went on perpetual mute less than 24 hours after it was activated. No one can hear me talk. Had to factory reset it per customer service, and then it did it again. Upon searching the internet for a solution, I discovered that this is a constant software problem that Motorola has not fixed. If this wasn't a problem, I would have really liked the phone. Just beware that this is a possible problem with this phone.
