I trust OtterBox to protect my new Motorola phone, my only issues are the last OtterBox I had for my LG had an inner plastic case and an outer rubber guard that saved my phone from a 30mph drop off my car. I really wish the one for the Motorola was the same. This Commuter case is slippery and slides on surfaces. I'm afraid it will slide off a desk or table. The only other thing is I ordered the Ocean blue and it's two tone green. It looked blue in every photo I saw of it and they call it blue. I really had no choice but to keep it as I needed cover for the new phone.

Not as good as my old otterbox defender case

The rubber case on the outside is much stiffer than the last otterbox defender case I had. The buttons are harder to push, and screen protector is not as tight. Dust easily gets inside. The screen protector interferes with the fingerprint reader if there's some temperature change as air bubbles form/get inside it.
I'll probagly just end up removing the built-in screen protector and putting something else on it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Upon purchasing my Motorola G7 Power, the local dealer did not have an Otterbox for my new phone. Instead, in an attempt to protect my phone, I can sold their recommended model. Five (5) days later, I had a cracked screen because the cover left the screen exposed as it ended below the edge of the screen. Since I had already ordered an Otterbox because nobody in my area had it in stock, I waited to replace my phone (insurance covered it) until I received my Otterbox. Since receiving my new Motorola G7 Power, I have installed the Otterbox on it. It fits perfectly as the screen is very much below the edge of the cover which lets me be at ease, should the phone accidently be dropped.
